Lan brings her "palpable sense of danger and excitement" (Primephonic) to her album titled "Incandescent" released on Centaur Label (CRC3457 Incandescent Piano Recital by Pianist Catherine Lan), in which the Romance "sings marvelously, while the rhythms of the short Scherzino are beautifully springy; the high-velocity finale also is excellently flighty, its technical hurdles melting to nothing. It is clear there is an exquisite musicality at work" (Fanfare Magazine).
